This ending is very instructive, that's how criminals always end up. Mafia 2 is not a game about cool mafia guys, but about why you mustn't be a criminal and which criminal gangs are actually rotten and not cool at all, as shown in the movies.

Well moral of the story Vito have lost everything, he was want money, respect, cars, girls and he end up lost his friends, his family and now he have blood on the hands and will always be haunt by all he did in the mafia This really show how Mafia world is in real life nothing fun and at the end of the day nothing good only blood and lost everyone you love the perfect ending I will always love this game even in 2024 this still a masterpiece.

Someone remembers that at the end of the game, during the city map a message appeared that said “there is no heaven for gangsters”, I think only I saw it or it was my imagination 😮

This legit brought a tear when I played it. I love Joe.

I am English but with a VPN I watched all of this program. Even though I do not speak Czech, but do understand some words, just with the acting, the actors faces and a little help from google translate, I found my self crying with laughter 😂🤣. you just know vito went absolutely berzerk mode after this. hopefully he did it smart though and played the long game to get his revenge for joe. play the part, act cool, and then execute his plan. he lost everything, including his best friend who thinks he betrayed him. 😞vito and joe true G's

Just finished the game And to be honest, i was shocked that the game ended here, i thought there's gonna be more...but i think that's enough. Great game, Great story, Sad and Perfect ending, i hope 3 will be as good.

As a kid you hate this ending so much but as we grew older this a perfect mafia ending mysteries and sadness and left with no words that’s how the real world is and OG Tommy’s death speech describes Vito and Joe really, a guy who wants too much risks absolutely anything and that guy might not get anything at all

You know, if Vito didn't just take down an entire crime family pretty much by his lonesome I'd like this ending better. As it is, I find myself wondering why Vito doesn't just blast his way out of the car, get out, and go save Joe. What's one more crime family to take out?

This ending broke me when I was a kid

After killing Leo, Frank Vinci wants revenge; but Vito also wants the same.

Vito sees his buddy Joe in the car in front of him being taken to a different route, leaving Vito confused by the sudden change. He asks Leo where are they taking him, and tells him that he is sorry, and that Joe was not apart of the deal. Vito, in that instant, knew what kind of life it is in organised crime. He finally realised that family didn’t matter to them. It was just a word they use to throw around so they can believe what they’re doing is honourable, but it isn’t. So he made a decision that will shake Empire Bay: Vito grabs Leo to use him as a human shield, grabs his gun in his breast-pocket on the inside of his suit, shoots Pépé point-blank in the head, and shoots the driver. Blood from the driver splatters onto the windshield, and slouch his head onto the wheel, sounding the car’s horn.

A lot of people on here have to chill out 😂 getting mad at fans that are making perfections about Joe. Like “IT WOULDN’T BE REALISTIC FOR JOE TO FIGHT BACK” like yeah?? The whole game is unrealistic! So what! It’s still awesome and fun. Let the fans have their predictions. If you think Joe can kill off half the entire Chinese mafia practically by himself ( with Vito of course) what makes you think he can’t fight of 3 guys in a car when he has a gun?
